In the United States it has been known to be very American to be active in the political process. So, if you find out that a politician is involved in criminal activities or if you simply dislike his rhetoric, you could be punished by losing your citizenship, which, under other laws, would make your presence in the US illegal, which also could be punished by imprisonment. This is a direct form of tyrannyArbitrary or unrestrained exercise of power; despotic abuse of authority. and ALL media members who have had the courage to support the moral and oppose the immoral are at risk because of this. This effectively ends the 1st Amendment because Americans will no longer be able to speak out against their government, which is a means to improve the living conditions in America, a right that everyone is entitled to!
