With the current political climate more and more people are attempting to find security in numbers and a group to call home. With my occupation and extra curricular activities like Bear Flag Trading Co. I have the opportunity to talk

Louisiana State Police say that 6 million pounds of explosives, including M6 artillery propellant, were found recklessly packed into buildings and left in open cardboard boxes on long rows of pallets outside the old Louisiana Army Ammunitions Plant. Officials are now removing the explosives, but residents are expected to be under a mandatory evacuation order for at least a couple of days.

Here is a list of all the items that you will want to get if you want to be prepared. I start out with the pet foods because people always forget about the pets. I am not a huge advocate of cats unless you have a farm, as I say that my wife has two cats, they are fun to watch but if the SHTFSh!t Hits the Fan, they are on their own. Dogs small or big are a good security force multiplier. If you think I misses something add is in the comments below.

Sometimes we have to explore other points of reference regardless of how farfetched they might seem at the time. After all these days reality is pretty much farfetched anyway is it not? A great deal can be gleaned from the so-called post-apocalyptic type movies. Certainly there are those in the audience jaded by their own escapes from reality to feel safer presuming no such scenario could ever happen on our sophisticated, metropolitan, one-world Earth. Then on the tail end of the coin are those we oft term with tongue-n-cheek as the “survival nuts” rallying to decipher the worst case play out of the sum of the events all the while shoving more rounds into their AR magazines.

At some point survival is going to come down to whether or not you know how to perform basic life-saving techniques.
